School's out!!

Well, school's out. I'm happy about that.

I don't know what-all I'll be doing this summer -- I'm definitely going to Montana and to Cedarville engineering camp. I'm really looking forward to engineering camp.

I'm also looking for a job -- I need to get a new amp (currently looking on eBay, found a Line 6 Flextone III to watch/bid on -- hopefully I can get that for a huge bargain) and I'm going to go over to McGuire's Music today to mess around, see if I can maybe trade in my old one (Dean Markley K-15 9W -- no wonder I can't hear myself, lol).

I'm listening to "The Goatee Speaks!", which is Mr. Harmless's podcast. WHEE Mr. Harmless! That's fun.

Oh, and I had Emily, Daniel, Jacob, and the Pablo over for random Pride and Prejudice watching. Paul and Daniel got here early, so Mom shooed all of us out of the house to go take a walk. So I decided to show them the awesome house of castleness -- this really huge house in our neighborhood. I took them up there, and we looked at it, and we started to start down these random steps that led up to it -- and this lady comes out of the house and tells us (in this very British accent; that was kinda cool) that we're tresspassing. Which we weren't -- there was a little street that led up to it and had a couple of other houses on it, and there were no "NO TRESSPASSING" signs. So we got told to stay on the steps while she went and got a camera. That was kinda freaky. And then while we were watching the movie, we had a gumball fight and I broke a glass. Or maybe it was Jacob. SO we stopped fighting with gumballs. Yay.

The end.

Jr/Sr story!!

Look! It's me! Aren't I gorgeous? (lol...not really) I have a demented camera, and it never takes eyes right -- hence the zombieness. I decided that glasses were evil, so I didn't wear them...which apparenty makes me look completely different. I think it's something to be saved for very special occasions, so you won't see me with contacts anytime soon. Anyways.Okay, I just described the whole experience in detail to Jacob in an e-mail, so I'll just copy and paste.

I went to Emily's house at like 1:30 after school got out and we made COOKIES. We made a giant cookie. It was really big. And then, after Natalie came, we went to go get Emily's hair done. After that was done -- she was really cute and her hair was allllll curly -- we went back to Emily's house to get ready. Natalie did my hair -- it ended up being straight, b/c my hair generally doesn't do curly -- and we had lots of random fun putting makeup on. By that time, it was 5:15, and the boys (and my mom) were coming at 5:30! It was quite a race to get our dresses on before they came. *fastforward through a boring hour* Okay, 6:30 -- banquet time. All the girls were wearing absolutely gorgeous dresses, and all the guys looked mostly okay. J.P. had gotten me a corsage that actually matched (a miracle) and was really awesome. So we had food -- it was a pasta buffet with a chef that cooked your food while you watched, which was awesome. Then we had an improv comedy thing, which was funny, and then senior wills and junior prophecies (Sam Liedtke actually got to do a senior will -- I thought that was awesome). Then Pastor Helmer talked and then there was a slideshow and Titus Justice played. Then it was over. Justin drove me and Emily back to Emily's house (Bob drove Natalie) and then left to go place. The three of us changed and watched the new Pride and Prejudice (with Matthew Macfayden as Mr. Darcy...yay!) and then lounged around and took pictures. I drove home at around 2AM. YAY!

YAY look at us. Aren't we gorgeous? (Lol, I look like retarded or something. I always tilt my head for pictures -- no idea why.) And so patriotic and sparkley, too! Wow! Emily's hair was sooo gorgeous. (I think it's awesome that God gave us hair to play with -- we'd get sooo bored after a while if we didn't have any.)

Ummm....the end.
